Euphoria
Y4 BEST PROSPECT FILLY
Y5 BEST TWO YEAR OLD FILLY
Y6 FILLY OF THE YEAR
Y7 BEST OLDER MARE
The Basics[/b]
Registered Name: Euphoria
Nickname: Phoria
Age: Four Years (Y3)
Breed: Thoroughbred
Colour & Markings: Copper Chestnut
Height: 16.2hh
Gender: Female
Personality:Phorie is spunky and sassy, with the kind of spirit you only find in the big time winners. She is highly intelligent, and usually likes to do her own thing in races. She refuses to work for all but one rider, Sarah Star, who is nothing short of her best friend. In fact, when Sarah broke her wrist in the beginning of Euphoria's four year old season, the filly had to be exercised by Sarah's sister, Marissa. She wouldn't work for the other rider at all, and looked downright miserable for the whole time. She had to be lunged every day by Sarah to keep up her fitness - same as her half brother Bank On Glory - and was not raced for the first few months of the year. One of Euphoria's cutest (and often most annoying) quirks, is that she paces her stall, whinnying loudly until her dinner/breakfast arrives. While Euphoria is not usually one to hold grudges, she does rather dislike a filly by the name of El Sol Del Mar. This rivalry with the other filly started when Phoria was three years old, and although El Sol del Mar seems to have been retired, there's no mistaking that Euphoria still watches out for her every time she races.
Discipline/s: Flat Racing
Pedigree: True Enough x Bank On Silver
Pedigree Comments:Bank On Silver was GHF's first Hall Of Fame-er. She won some of GHF's biggest races back in the early days, such as the Winter Tundra Cup, GHF Golden Opportunity Cup, Goldenrod Cup, Filly Cup, IMS G1 Championship Stakes, and the Autumn G3+ Sweepstakes. She retired at age five and was inducted into the HOF with a record of 69-28-11-9. True Enough was GHF's third Hall Of Fame-er. He won some pretty huge races on GHF including the Continental Cup and the Melbourne Cup, both some of the biggest turf races on the calendar. He retired and was inducted into the HOF with a record of 73-23-16-11. Euphoria was the first foal of both of them, and then her twin sister Lusitania was born soon after. Her half brother Impressario is taking the track by storm with so far not one race out of the top three and all but two races in the top two.

BIOGRAPHY
Euphoria was born a small and weak foal, the result of being a twin. By the age of six months, however, she was the biggest and strongest filly in the field. She claimed dominance over the others, and gained a deep love for racing even before she stepped foot on the track. By the end of her two year old season, she had achieved a win in the prestigious Breeder's Cup Juvenile Fillies. Her three year old season didn't start out great; the filly lost some races against easy competition, and we went through a phase of doubt in her. She seemed to hae lost her lust for winning, and right before we gave up hope, Euphoria bounced back with win after win. She improved so much that we decided to give her a chance to run in the Triple Crown. Unfortunately, she didn't win any of the three famous races, but she rand some darn good races. Euphoria instead went on to win the Dubai Filly Cup, Climax Cup, and possibly the biggest of her career, the Breeder's Cup Distaff. Her fourth season was off to a very positive start, with a win in the popular Spring Cup. Euphoria then went on to win the Unicorn Horn Dirt, and then the Autumn Cup. Shortly afterwards, she was entered in her own dam's memorial race, the Bank On Silver Memorial Stakes. Having lost the race in her third year, we were extra determined that Euphoria win this year, and so was she. Euphoria pulled of a spectacular win, and was given a short break from racing as a reward. After placing second in the Seaspray Cup, she was back in form for a new challenge. Next on her target list was the Dubai Filly Cup, but she unfortunately had a rough trip, and was unable to summon the strength to win over the two filllies who beat her. With the end of the year looming, there were just three races left for the filly to conquor. The first of which, she won gracefully, and with ease. The Independance cup was down, and next on the list was again the Breeder's Cup Distaff. With half brother Impressario running in the classic, we had decided Euphoria had a better chance of winning if she ran in the Distaff again. The race was extremely close, Euphoria was very unwilling to lose. She fought the whole way, but in the end a younger and fresher filly beat her. Her spirits were not downed, though; she still had one more race on the agenda, which was to run in four weeks time, on the very last day of the year. The Palm Tree Paradise Invitational. This race was perhaps going to be one of the most memorable of her career, and hopes were running high. If the filly won, there was an excellent chance for her at the end of year awards. Needless to say, Euphoria ran an amazing race, and came near to breaking the record. Her final target had been shot down,
